Getting to Kiawah Island

What’s the best way to arrive at the resort?

Whether traveling from the Charleston International Airport, or embarking on a road trip, the picturesque journey to Kiawah Island is lined with Grand Oaks draped in Spanish moss. Visit our Location Page for directions from various regional landmarks or cities.

Transportation

If you are flying and need to schedule transportation, the best way is to use the Villa or Sanctuary concierge service.

The cost one-way (to/from Charleston International Airport) is $200 in a sedan for one or two people (which includes gratuity) OR if you would like an SUV (that can fit up to 4ppl), the cost is $250 (including gratuity). Again, this is a one-way rate.

You can take an Uber from the airport to Kiawah, but Ubers are very hard to get once you are on the island (and take a long time) and you cannot use Lyft on the island.

Please make sure to arrange this in advance as the summer is a busy time.
