On behalf of the Steering Committee for the South Atlantic Cardiovascular Society (SACS), I invite you to join us at Kiawah Island Resort, South Carolina, July 17th – 20th, 2025, for the 51st Annual Meeting.
Our meeting brings together specialists from the Southeast and beyond in the cardiovascular field to discuss and debate challenging clinical cases in a relaxed setting. Leaders and innovators will present cases and facilitate discussions so that we may learn from one another’s successes and failures.
Hot topics for 2025 include, but not limited to, high performance throughout your career by a former Navy Seal, sports cardiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, valuation therapies for treating myocardial bridging, and novel therapies for endovascular treatment of the aortic arch.
We also have a keynote speech by Dr. Joseph Sabik from the Cleveland Clinic.
New this year, we will have a hands-on/skills/demonstration area set up for physicians & APPs to have one on one training time w/our industry partners.
Outside of the educational sessions, the social activities are a very important part of the conference, providing opportunities for families to come together in a relaxed, laid-back setting.
These will include our traditional golf tournament with prizes, Friday night Mingo Point BBQ, Saturday dinner and dancing at Sanctuary Hotel and Sunday Family Brunch.
As we approach our 51st year, it’s amazing to see how much SACS has grown and evolved but stayed true to the belief that learning from one another is what makes us all successful. Our format is engaging, interactive and refreshing. It’s a meeting my family and I look forward to each year as we have built lasting relationships at this conference. I hope you will make plans to join us this year at Kiawah.
